So I’ve been dating this guy for about a month and things are great. He respects boundaries I respect boundaries. Wevboth have previous trauma that we are respectful of each other’s space. We have fun together and we talk about everything. So I get a friend request from his ex-wife and me being a nice person I consider accepting it because I have nothing to hide. I don’t know her but whatever. Then I got to thinking about it what are her motives for doing this I’ve never dealt with this before. So I sent her a message and said maybe someday we can actually meet in person and get to know each other and then become friends on Facebook until then I’m sorry I cannot accept this request. He and I have discussed it and agree we do not have room for her in our relationship. I know I did the right thing and I’m not questioning that but since I’ve never dealt with stuff like this what are her motives of sending me that friend request? Is she trying to stir the pot between him and I? is that just her way of trying to stay connected to him? it’s left me confused please help....
